Letter writer should heed own advice

To the Editor,

I am responding to Joanne Drake’s letter to the Editor, published on September 4, 2019. While lamenting that she was bored with reading letters from past mayor Marg Lampman, Drake also took a gratuitous shot at me for “failing to raise the alarm” when Lillooet lost its transportation link to the coast.

I am assuming that Drake is referring to the Prospector bud car service, which made its last run on October 20, 2002, before I became a councillor for the District of Lillooet. Drake states, “So let’s keep the record straight, shall we?” Drake should heed her own advice.

And if Lampman’s letters to the Editor bore Drake, the solution is simple – don’t read them!

Christ’l Roshard,
