To the Editor,
So marijuana is becoming a legal product. All fine and good, but a drug is a drug, whether it is alcohol or marijuana.
Alcohol can be tested for the amount that is in a person’s body. I am being told that that is not possible with marijuana: they can only tell you that marijuana is, or is not, in a person’s body. It this true?
I would be nice to know “the whole truth and nothing but the truth.” I am worried that roads will be full of people driving drugged if there is no proper test.
I’ve always said that marijuana should be sold in liquor stores, right beside the beer.
Whatever the drug, it still ALL affects the brain, and reaction time, if driving. Proper testing of the amount of THC is a person’s blood Must Come First before legalization.
I feel that Mr. Trudeau is Silly to push this so quickly. Is he paying off a “friend” who might have given him a huge sum of money for his election campaign?
Almost sounds like that to me.
