"Highway Thru Hell" airs Duffey Lake Road episode tonight

The Discovery Channel’s “Highway Thru Hell” series will broadcast two episodes later today about a dramatic rescue and recovery on the Duffey Lake Road (Highway 99 South) last December.

Episode 4 of Season 4 of “Highway Thru Hell” will be broadcast tonight at 5 p.m., to be repeated again at 9 p.m. Pacific Time.

The “Holidays Thru Hell” episode is described as one of the “most difficult jobs” of the season.

The show depicts the aftermath of an accident that happened when a semi plunged off a bridge on the Duffey Lake Road, leaving a trailer and three RVs dangling over the damaged bridge and the truck driver trapped in his vehicle.
