Chief Oike told the News this morning the fire call came in at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters battled the stubborn blaze for hours and didn’t leave the scene until midnight.

He said there are no plans at this time to bring in an outside investigator to help determine the cause of the blaze.

Instead, Chief Oike will be leading the investigation.

He was unable to tell the News if there were any vehicles inside the building.

“It’s all collapsed in on itself; it’s a total loss,” said Oike.
