The men's rec hockey tournament was held from Jan. 29-31 at the REC Centre.
The REC Centre pool opened Jan. 8 after a six-week delay. The pool was originally set to open for six months starting last November but the REC Centre waited until January due to staff shortages. The schedule is now available at the REC Centre.
December was mighty cold, but there was lots to do all the same. Some of the highlights from this holiday season.
As is traditional over the holidays, Santa Claus was making rounds all over Lillooet in the runup to Christmas. He was a welcome sight at the many events he attended. Santa also kept his appearances lively by radically altering his age, height, and race depending on the venue of the day. This guy never gets stale!

The Salmon in the Canyon Festival was held August 22. The event saw approximately 300 people enjoy a delicious salmon feast. The event was hosted by the Lillooet Naturalist Society. Sorry these photos are not available for sale.

Lillooet secondary school had its graduation ceremony on the morning of June 13. The ceremony took place on the school grounds in the same tent that housed the prom the night before. Lillooet secondary school had its graduation banquet on the evening of Friday, June 12. Prom, held in an outdoor tent on the school grounds, followed the banquet and lasted until 1 a.m. Make sure to check out our other grad galleries online.
