The Sheep Pasture Mens Open golf tournament was held on Sept 8 & 9, a total of 20 golfers teed it up this year. Saturday saw clear skies, warm weather, calm conditions and good scoring.
Darrell Coldwell carded a 71 two better than the 73 posted by Jef Fedato and Don Layton. Mike Leech had the round of the day with his 82 minus his 24 handicap netting him a 58!
On Sunday golfers were presented with warm weather, clear skies and windy conditions. Coldwell shot a steady round of 72, good for a 6 shot win to claim the title.
The round of the day went to Charlie Waters. At age 74, Waters shot a great round of 73 to better his age by 1 shot! Charlie Waters won Overall Low Net with a net score of 122. Jef Fedato won low gross in the A flight, Tony Adolph was the top dog in the B flight claiming the B flight low gross, Don Layton and Oliver Williams good play earned them low net honors in the A and B flights.
