And the Ironman winners are: David Adolph, Marguerite Parker, DJ Adolph and Bobby Seed
The 2012 Ironman (27 Hole Challenge) golf tournament was held on Saturday Aug 18.
Hot weather made this year’s event a true test; 22 golfers endured the heat.
The two-person teams played three nine-hole rounds consisting of various formats. The teams’ net scores for the three rounds combined determined the winners.
The men’s division was won by father/son duo of David and DJ Adolph with a net score of 88.5. They narrowly beat out the team of Darrell Coldwell and Charlie Waters by 1.5 shots. With this year’s win, David and DJ have now won this event a total of three times.
In the Ladies division, Bobby Seed and Marguerite Parker, with a net score of 100, won by seven shots over their closest competitors Wendy Reynolds and Sue Beland.
