Deborah Doss-Cody named new Chief Officer

Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police

Hail to the Chief! Deborah Doss-Cody is the new Chief Officer of the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police.

The Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police Board says it is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Doss-Cody as the new Chief Officer of the Tribal Police.

The announcement was made in an Aug. 24 news release.

Chief Officer Doss-Cody is from Xaxli’p and has been a member of the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police since the force’s formation 24 years ago.

She will continue working out of the Tribal Police’s Main Street office in Lillooet and manage operations from there. The Tribal Police also has an office in Mount Currie.

On behalf of the board, Chairperson Cliff Casper extended its congratulations to Chief Officer Doss-Cody.
