The registrations are coming in fast and furious for the Second Dan Baker Memorial Golf Tournament.
“It looks like we will have more golfers than last year,” tournament organizer Oliver Williams told the News. Last year’s tourney drew 99 enthusiastic golfers.
The Aug. 25 tournament starts with registration at 10 a.m. before the first golfers tee off at the Lillooet Golf Course at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. at the Legion, with live music to follow.
Golfers from as far away as Ontario competed in last year’s charity event, which raised $2,800 for local sports organizations.
