2012 Garden Tour committee members Chris Galliazzo, Lori Karanfilis, Linda Lamont, Marlene Perez and Sharon Bernier are putting the finishing touches on plans for this year’s tour, to be held June 16.
Come rain or come shine, Lillooet’s 5th Garden Tour will be held this Saturday, June 16.
A dozen gardens will be featured on this year’s tour, which will raise money for Breast Cancer Research. All garden locations are a secret until the big day, although organizers have said Anette Thumand’s Pine Street garden will be on the tour. She died in January after a battle with breast cancer.
To raise more money for Breast Cancer Research, refreshments and plants will be sold on the Sears parking lot that day, with all proceeds going to the cause.
Tickets are available through committee members and from Sears.
The Lillooet Garden Tour received a boost when it was featured in the June 2012 edition of Gardens West magazine.
