The senior novice Lillooet Pistons finished on top of the podium in the tournament that they played from the weekend of Feb. 26-28 in Hope.
Their record was three wins which came against the Hope Wildcats, Mission Maniacs and North Delta Ice Dogs, and one tie following a game versus 100 Mile House.
Our team played with spirit and determination throughout the games and was excited to cheer on Team Canada during the Olympic men’s hockey gold-medal game.
Parents and players all watched together in the Hope arena and when Crosby scored in overtime it was the icing on a truly great hockey weekend.
