Dear Editor,
Thought I would drop you a line and let you know about a neat project that one of our staff members has just completed…
Laurie Hopfl found herself in possession of some very old photos of the original Lillooet Hospital on Main Street and also found a picture of when the “new” hospital was built.
She had an idea to take pictures of the hospital as it is now (many renos to the original structure).
Another employee, Kathleen Hadford, who also runs her own business, Kat Hadford Photography, took pics as we are now.
All three photos are on display in the hospital waiting area. I
t was quite a feat finding information around dates, etc. and Laurie spent many hours and touch base with many Lillooet oldtimers looking for history.
It was a great experience and we would like to share the work with the community!
