The senior novice Pistons took a road trip to 100 Mile House on Nov. 21 to play both of their teams.
We won the games 7-1 and 9-0, which was quite a thrill for the squad. It was the first time that they were able to best their northern opponents.
All of the players went at both games with high energy, team play, and good sportsmanship.
We even ended up with a few “hat trick kids” and our goalies came away sporting a goals-against average that even Luongo would love to have.
It was great to see the smiles when the names were announced for goals and assists and also to hear the cheering of the parents.
This weekend, we are in Merritt for a tournament, where we will be looking forward to another challenge and more good times.
